I do not think it's a place of environment
I was dining solo and managed to grab a seat at the bar in this tiny establishment with sprawling patio. Couldn’t have felt more welcome. Food and drinks were amazing. Vibe is inimitable. TLV hospitality and warmth at its finest.
+Nice atmosphere- No beer selection (only 2)- high prices, small portions and no happy hour
Very cool vibe, the atmosphere of a bar and a menu of a restaurant. Everybody comes together here to have some food and drinks but mainly laugh. Love it when you share a table with others.
Unlike a lot of reviews we actually had great service here! We got here at 6pm for an early dinner and were told it was a 15-20 mins wait, we had a drink at the bar and got collected once our shared table was ready. Our waitress explained the menu and gave her recommendations which we followed. All the food came out quite quickly and was delicious! Do not miss the aubergine or the butchers cut. Local wine was also great.Overall this restaurant is not cheap but average price for Tel Aviv while the food is better than most places we went. Not to miss when you are in the city!
Simple ingredients with strong flavor. The food was refreshing and delicious. Cocktails, a little on the sweet side. Definitely recommend stopping in for a meal.
Absolutely fantastic. Great food, fair prices, very friendly staff and amazing vibe. We went for a second time because our first visit was just excellent. Definitely recommend this place. We had to wait 30 minutes but it was totally worth it. In the meantime you can order a drink and most surprisingly the hostess gave us a free shot.
It's a great place and the service was excellent! And prices are quite good
Tasty, but way too expensive for what you get
Heart warming food and great vibes. This capable team will drive you nuts with fresh ingredients. Valentino, you’re an absolute legend man! Thank you all!Eu aka a.lloyd
I was not especially impressed by this place. The food was OK, but nothing special and overpriced. It was buzzing with life, apparently it's very popular both with tourists and locals, it was way too crowded to my taste, but if you like this kind of environment, this is the place to go to for dinner.
Probably one of the hottest places in tel aviv.Need to improve their service and hygiene.
Every trip in Israel visit this restaurant . Good experience, very delicious food .
The food is tasty but the portion is extremely small. The Rose taste bad and sour....this is minute steak. Tasty but pathetically small but the shop does decorate well:)
Wonderful buzzy vibe, casual but good quality food - Mediterranean tapas. Service with a positive attitude. We could have sat there for a few more hours, definitely recommended.
Great, shareable food at affordable prices. Good atmosphere as well
Brilliant culinary masterpieces and super friendly staff! A quintessential Tel Aviv food hub!
Amazing food. I wanted something healthy and got baked Sweet Potato with sea salt and Cream. Never thought such a simple food could taste so well.Happening place and late night food available
All of the dishes were amazing! I can’t believe how great and consistent the food is. The service was good and we only waited 20 minutes for a table for 4 on a busy night. Very fairly priced for the quality of the dishes! Cancel your reservation at North Abraxass and go here - you will not be sorry. Better food for much better price!!
Tons of people love this place. I'm one of them. For Tel Aviv it is very good value
Really good spot found on our first night in Tel Aviv close to our apartment. On a Tuesday evening it was so crowded that we have been told to wait 50 minutes to have dinner. However it worth the wait, we had a beer relaxing and after exactly 50 minutes we have been assigned to a table. Staff is nice, really fast, once we ordered 3 things from the menu the first 2 arrived in 2 minutes, incredible! Food is really good, you don't expect it usually in crowded cozy late night bar like this. You must go!
Super duper popular on a Saturday noon. The eggplant is ok but chicken liver is pretty good!
Great food, atmosphere, service. Young hipster crowd, many nationalities here. The music is also good.Overall a fun experience.
Fabulous food and atmosphere. Taking the highest quality local ingredients and letting them shine. Moderately priced, great atmosphere! Worth waiting if there is a line.
Came here on a monday with two friends. As we arrived it was super packed and the hostess gave us an estimate of like 20min. We waited with some drinks from the bar. As we sat down we got the menu and ordered. The waitress was really nice and attentive. We got a variety of dishes which were all excellent and devoured within no time. The music and general vibe is awesome too. Great casual spot before a night our or a catch up with friends.
One of the few places in Tel-Aviv where hipsters, young mothers with babies and tourist families can coexist. Amazing vibes, great food from Eyal Shani's genius mind and music that can't fit the atmosphere better.
This popular location is popular for a reason. It offers great food and cold beer on tap in a great location. The service is friendly despite how many people they have to attend to. It is certainly worth enjoying some food and drink here.
Such a bummer the staff was not so chill. The food is so simple and very tasteful at the same time. Go for the sweet patato for sure. They almost trow your cutlery on your table which was a bit dissapointing
A super cool place! Great food and drinks. Highly recommended!
Music is awesome, walls are lined with stacks of vinyl but they also invite guest djs in the evening to occupy that single turntable) that’s really cute though. The place get packed by 8 pm but if you’re dining/drinking solo there’s usually a seat or two at the bar. The dishes are are medium sized, and you can order two without killing your stomach. Eggplant here is always a good idea.
The French Toast, as well known, is excellent (it takes ~40min to make!). And even more so the Steak&Eggs! On the other hand, I would skip the cocktails. But the food certainly entitles it the 5 stars.
Unique food, not very expensive with high variety.Service is great. There's always a line and can't make reservations which is pretty annoying.
Great vibe, good food! Try the Batata 🍠
What an amazing place! A friend of our Airbnb host invited us along for some Friday afternoon fun as he was dj’ing there. An eclectic mix of world music all played from vinyls along with a great atmosphere, amazing food and drink to keep the party feeling going! I would definitely recommend this place if you are in tel Aviv on a Friday!
Food and fun and music! 100% tel aviv
I come here often. It's always fun. Something about the location, the hardcore hipster waitresses and the paeudo-Levant menu and atmosphere just comes together in a perfect way. Highly recommended with a glass of ice cold arak during a summer evening. I recommend comming early since waiting times tend to be long during the busy hours.
Food was delicious, really interesting range of tapas. Very busy place so u might have to wait or get there early. Our waiter was a little strange and forgot our orders a lot! So food good, service not so good.
Best bar in Israel! Even have me a complimentary beer and sandwich. Will definitely come again!
I love this restaurant but at the same time you never know what you are going to get - super inconsistent. One night a dish might be delicious, the next you get the exact same dish and its bland and doesnt taste good. A restaurant should be consistently good.
Came here in a large group and we ordered a lot of the dishes. This place is very tapas-like restaurant where each place is of relatively small size but sharing it would give everybody a good amount just for the taste.I believe we ended up ordering about 16,17 dishes to here, some with repetitions. They also got specialties that’s not on the menu so make sure you ask the waiters about it.My personal favorites include the minute steak, the avocado bruschetta, the bread salad and the carrot cake. Other food were fine, but not impressive AWe got cocktails and beer too. Averaged about $70usd per person including the tips.
True Tel Aviv Atmosphere👌Highly recommended for Israely fusion Middle East cuisine 🍳
One of the best in Tel Aviv. Good is delicious, family style. Order anything and you will like it. Great place to go during summer.
Another great Eyal Shani restaurant ! Great atmosphere. It's worth having a little bit of patience and queuing a little bit in order to have great food !
Wow, this spot gets super packed! This is similar to tapas where there are small plates of food, so come with a group to try different items. Prepare to wait though, unless you come during off-hours. We ordered the eggplant, spinach and potato, and skirt steak. They were all super small plates for quite high prices, but they were tasty. The eggplant and steak were similar though, as they were both served with tahini sauce and tomato bits. The eggplant was roasted really well and soft, and the flavor was great. The steak was a bit bland but it was juicy. The spinach and potato was also bland, but the parts that had cheese were better. The plates of food are really small and since there were a lot of people, they came out quite slowly, so only come here if you have time to spare. It's quite pricey as our meal came out to be almost 150 shekels including tip, and I wasn't really full when leaving.
It’s so amazing Food! So yummy! Stuff Perfect!
Excellent spinach! <3 totally loved it and the vibe.
Food is outstanding and the place has a really good vibe. The service unfortunately is below standard. We have often waited over 1.5 hours for a table - staff hardly update you on status of table and we have to keep checking up on this. Could not be less interested with their customers. Nevertheless we keep coming back here for the food as it is excellent - pity about the service though - would really raise the standards.
Such overrated place!!!Stuff were so mean, not respectful, service was bad, dirty cups and plates. Stay away from this ugly place.
Great food with good service. We had butchers cut, eggplant and okra and they were all delicious. I specially liked the tahini sauce they put in these dishes and the bread they serve with the food. Can’t wait for my next visit.
Good food, pricey
Nice place.Lunch was fine, special and authentic dishes.Good for sharing.
